Beginning this July, SIRSA will provide its cleaning and disinfection services at the most emblematic modernist park of Barcelona. And it is taking over the service at a time when, because of the drop in tourism due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Barcelona’s residents have gone back to using this space for their walks and recreation.
The assigned 7 workers are in charge of sanitising this park from Monday through Sunday, with a special service before visitors begin to enter the premises. This team remains during the entire workday and provides thorough disinfection when the gates close.
SIRSA is in charge of the cleaning and maintenance of all common areas, for both visitors and staff of the park (dressing rooms, dining room, offices, etc.). The service is reinforced in places with the highest volume of people, such as the Casa del Guarda, which is open to visitors, and in the projection room, where there are audiovisuals on the history of the monument.
During this exceptional period, the use of disinfectant products in common spaces and on common elements (railings and knobs, switches, etc.) is one of the main actions for preventing the spread of and infection by coronavirus, in addition to maintaining strict safety measures among staff members. Gloves, FFP2 masks and safety distance are essential in any service that workers provide.
